One company, the whole chain
Software vendors buy someone else's meters and hope the data is right. Meter manufacturers ship hardware and leave the billing to somebody else. Reading bureaux do neither and charge for the labour in between. PMT does all four.
Our flagship is MOL — developed in-house since 1998, now handling half-hourly data from more than 109,000 meters. The rest of the business exists to make sure the numbers reaching it are right.

Metering companies don't write billing platforms. Software companies don't understand metrology.
MOL was built by metering engineers, not by a software house adding metering as an afterthought. The distinction shows up where it matters — in how a phasor diagram catches a reversed CT before it becomes a billing dispute, in how a summated account diversifies demand correctly, in what happens when a billing cycle straddles a tariff change.

MOL reads any major meter — but PMT designs its own range, because knowing exactly how an instrument behaves is the difference between data you can bill on and data you have to argue about. Every meter we supply is calibrated in our own SANAS-accredited laboratory before it leaves us.

Why the data can be trusted
We calibrate the meters ourselves, in our own accredited laboratory.
Billing is only as good as the measurements underneath it. PMT has held SANAS accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 since 1995 — for calibration on site as well as in the laboratory, and for forensic work where a utility is investigating tampering.
